To hit the jackpot, first you gotta get three or more Fortune Orbs on a winning line. Then a respin will trigger with Orbs frozen in place - if you hit another Fortune Orb then you retrigger again. Once you hit a spin with no Fortune Orb, it stops and you're paid out the sum of the prizes. However, if you hit a full reel of Fortune Orbs you'll get a random jackpot from the sidebar.
